WHO OWNS WILDERNESS WIND?
Wilderness Wind is a branch of the nonprofit Chicago Voyagers. Wilderness Wind was acquired by Chicago Voyagers in 2016. The board of Chicago Voyagers can be found here: Chicago Voyagers Board.
Wilderness Wind Inc. offered its first trip in 1986. The availability of the Lakeside cabins in 1995 broadened the program to include people with varied abilities and interests in wilderness experiences. The last board of Wilderness Wind Inc before the Wilderness Wind properties were transferred to Chicago Voyagers can be found here: prior-wilderness-wind-inc-board. Chicago Voyagers is grateful to these and prior board members for their efforts to create and nurture Wilderness Wind and for their generous continued support. They are amazing people!
