Armstrong Lake, a 382-acre lake located 10 miles west of Ely, Minnesota. In addition to the recreational and educational opportunities available in\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ely.org\/\">Ely<\/a>, Wilderness Wind offers day trips into the Boundary Waters.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wildernesswind.org\/images\/yurtinside09.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"199\" height=\"256\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The <a title=\"The Yurt\" href=\"http:\/\/wildernesswind.org\/index.php\/lakeside\/the-yurt\/\">yurt<\/a> and each <a title=\"Cabins\" href=\"http:\/\/wildernesswind.org\/?page_id=128\">cabin<\/a> has a combined kitchen\/dining area with a stove, refrigerator\/ freezer and cooking and eating utensils. Cabins also have cold running water into the kitchens. We are grateful for all the volunteers and donors who contributed toward this memorial to Mike Hofkamp.
