Previous volunteers have assisted\u00a0 through:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/wildernesswind.org\/images\/volunteers1.jpg\" alt=\"volunteers1.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"175\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul style=\"font: inherit; text-align: center;\">\n<li style=\"font: inherit; text-align: left;\">baking and cooking<\/li>\n<li style=\"font: inherit; text-align: left;\">making kitchen cabinets and screen doors<\/li>\n<li style=\"font: inherit; text-align: left;\">chopping wood<\/li>\n<li style=\"font: inherit; text-align: left;\">sewing curtains<\/li>\n<li style=\"font: inherit; text-align: left;\">painting and other maintenance<\/li>\n<li style=\"font: inherit; text-align: left;\">putting up the yurt<\/li>\n<li style=\"font: inherit; text-align: left;\">shingling<\/li>\n<li style=\"font: inherit; text-align: left;\">caring for equipment<\/li>\n<li style=\"font: inherit;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">doing computer and office work<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/wildernesswind.org\/images\/volunteers3.jpg\" alt=\"volunteers3.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"182\" border=\"0\" \/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some volunteers chip in for a week, others for a day. Whatever your time frame and interest, there is a way you can participate in Wilderness Wind. Though we welcome volunteers throughout the summer, two set times when additional help is needed are mid to late May and mid to late\u00a0October.\u00a0 This is when we set up and pack up camp. During these times, volunteers are needed to put up or take down tents, assist with food preparation, prepare the buildings, equipment and grounds for use (or winter).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/wildernesswind.org\/images\/volunteers2.jpg\" alt=\"volunteers2.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"168\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We have had groups as large as 20 and as small as one. Whenever you come, we want to make sure you also have time to relax, canoe, fish, visit the International Wolf Center or simply enjoy the quiet and beauty of the North woods. We welcome your assistance in strengthening Wilderness Wind&#8217;s program and people&#8217;s experiences with it.<\/p>\n<p>We require all volunteers to complete a <a href=\"http:\/\/wildernesswind.org\/documents\/Volunteer Release.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">volunteer release form<\/a>.
