Wilderness Wind has four log cabins with sunset views of Armstrong Lake available for rental and retreat.
Available Mid-May – Sept 30
EACH CABIN RENTAL INCLUDES:
- canoes and kayaks and life jackets available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
- use of dock to fish, relax, or to tie your boat to(as space permits)
- use of the Gathering Space and associated deck with gas grill and griddle
- free firewood for use at local fire-pits and common pit by lake
- a library in Blue Jay Yurt common space (a great place to hang out during bad weather)
- a small in-cabin library and packet of natural history and recreation information about the area
Day trips are also available with advance notice. Ask for details.

Loon, facing Lake Armstrong
LOON
Loon includes one bedroom with a queen bed and bunk beds. The front sitting area offers a wonderful view of the lake (about as close to a screened-in porch as you can get). The cabin is 23′ x 18′ (414 sq ft).

BEAR
Bear has two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and the other has a queen bed as well. The cabin measures 20′ x 20′ (400 sq ft).

Moose
Moose has one bedroom with one queen bed and the bedroom / sitting area has twin beds. The kitchen / dining area in this cabin is larger than that of the other cabins. The cabin is 20′ x 20′ (400 sq ft).

WOLF
Wolf is a one room cabin with a queen bed. Its distinguishing features are that it is set back into the woods more than the others and it is by a small stream. It is a favorite of many of our guests. It is 12′ x16′ (192 sq ft).
